"Morgana: [to Merlin] You fool! You thought you would trap me. You are trapped yourself, by the same sorcery you used to deceive my mother. You're nothing. You're not a god, you're not a man. I shall find a man, and give birth to a god."

"Ector: [before the battles of unification] All these men are loyal."

"I saw nothing but the wind on the water."

"The fog is lifting."

"Drink from the chalice and you will be reborn and the land with you."

"You and the land are one."

"I can't give up hope, Lancelot. It's all I have."

"Looking at the cake is like looking at the future – until you've tasted it, what do you really know? And then, of course, it's too late."

"When a man lies, he murders some part of the world."

"Remember, there's always something cleverer than yourself."

"The days of our kind are numberèd. The one God comes to drive out the many gods. The spirits of wood and stream grow silent. It's the way of things. Yes... it's a time for men, and their ways."

"It is a lonely life, the way of the necromancer... oh, yes. Lacrimae Mundi — the tears of the world."

"I once stood exposed to the Dragon's Breath so that a man could lie one night with a woman. It took me nine moons to recover. And all for this lunacy called, "love", this mad distemper that strikes down both beggar and king. Never again. Never!"

"Look upon this moment. Savor it! Rejoice with great gladness! Great gladness! Remember it always, for you are joined by it. You are One, under the stars. Remember it well, then... this night, this great victory. So that in the years ahead, you can say, "I was there that night, with Arthur, the King!" For it is the doom of men that they forget."

"Anál nathrach, orth’ bháis’s bethad, do chél dénmha."

"You will be the land, and the land will be you. If you fail, the land will perish; as you thrive, the land will blossom."

"Behold! The Sword of Power! Excalibur! Forged when the world was young, and bird and beast and flower were one with man, and death was but a dream!"

"I have walked my way since the beginning of time. Sometimes I give, sometimes I take, it is mine to know which and when!"

"Do... as I command! One day, a King will come, and the Sword will rise... again."

"I have often thought that in the hereafter of our lives, when I owe no more to the future and can be just a man... that we may meet, and you will come to me and claim me as yours, and know that I am your husband. It is a dream I have..."

"I was not born to live a man's life, but to be the stuff of future memory. The fellowship was a brief beginning, a fair time that cannot be forgotten. And because it will not be forgotten, that fair time may come again. Now once more, I must ride with my knights, to defend what was... and the dream of what could be."

"Ready my knights for battle. They will ride with their king once more. I have lived through others for far too long. Lancelot carried my honor, and Guenevere, my guilt. Mordred bore my sins. My knights have fought my causes. Now, my brother, I shall be... king."

"Where have you been these many years... are you just a dream Merlin?"

"Where are you Merlin? If only you could see me wield Excalibur one more time."

"Merlin if only you were at my side my old friend to give me courage. There are no war tricks that will fool Mordred and Morgana. More than I ever did I need you now."

"Any man who would be a knight and follow a king, follow me!"

"Nobody shall have the sword! Nobody shall wield Excalibur...but ME!"

"Talk! Talk is for lovers, Merlin. I need the sword to be King!"

"Merlin, I am the strongest! I am the one! The sword! You promised me the sword!"

"Helen Mirren - Morgana"

"Nigel Terry - King Arthur"

"[from trailer] Forged of splendour and magic, where future meets past, flesh meets steel, and the only fear is the pain of love."

"When the melody turns on, gas comes out. When the gas comes out, I fall asleep. I found out later it's the same Valium gas the Russians used on those Chechen terrorists."

"If they had told me it was going to be fifteen years, would it have been easier to endure?"

"The TV is both a clock and a calendar. It's your school, your home, your church, your friend... [Dae-su masturbates to a pop star onscreen] ... and your lover. But... my lover's song is too short."

"I thought I'd lived a simple life. But I've sinned too much."

"Please. Don't tell Mido. What has she done wrong? You know it was all my fault... I have committed an unforgivable sin, against your sister. And I also... did you wrong. But, please leave Mido alone... If by any chance Mido finds out the truth, you son of a bitch, I'll tear you limb from limb. And your remains will never be found. Why? Because I'm going to swallow every last bit."

"Erasing my memory and telling me to find the truth was cowardly. I won. So die like you promised."

"As I expected, I can't get along with anyone today either."

"[To a mob of thugs in hallway] Anyone here with an AB blood type, raise your hand. [Three thugs raise their hands]"

"15 years forced in a cell, only 5 days given to seek revenge."

"End of confrontation, one must die."
