Edward Winslow
Edward Winslow (1595–1655) was a Separatist who traveled on the Mayflower. He served as the governor of Plymouth Colony in 1633, 1636, and finally in 1644. His testimony in Mourt's Relation is one of only two primary sources of the "first thanksgiving" in existence (Originally titled: A Relation or Journal of the Beginning and Proceedings of the English Plantation Settled at Plimoth in New England), although William Bradford appears to have written most of the first section.
