Mr. Jinnah and Khwaja Nazimuddin, when questioned on this point immediately after the Bombay session, said that they were not prepared to say anything about the matter. Within a few days, however, Khwaja Nazi¬ muddin was able to say that the Muslim population of Bengal knew very well what “ Direct Action ” would mean."
