Ὁ οὖν γέρων, λαβὼν αὐτό, κατεδίωξεν ὀπίσω αὐτῶν βοῶν καὶ λέγων· Τέκνα, λάβετε ὃ ἐπελάθεσθε ἐν τῷ κελλίῳ ἡμῶν. Οἱ δέ, θαυμάσαντες ἐπὶ τῇ ἀνεξικακίᾳ τοῦ γέροντος, ἀποκατέστησαν αὐτῷ πάντα ἐν τῷ κελλίῳ, καὶ μετενόησαν εἰπόντες πρὸς ἀλλήλους· Ἀληθῶς ἄνθρωπος Θεοῦ ἐστὶν οὗτος."
