Patriarchy as a theology of headship continues to be a roadblock to having many women ordained in the church...The study concludes that no theological, biblical, or traditional ratification hinders women from being ordained as ministers of word and sacrament...The church should extirpate all forms of discrimination, patriarchy, negative attitudes, and cultural practices that deny women life in its fullness."
