"You're a long ways past the reef. [Moana: Gramma?] Guess I chose the right tattoo. [Moana: Gramma! I tried, Gramma, I couldn't do it.] It's not your fault. I never should've put so much on your shoulders. If you’re ready to go home, I will be with you. [long pauses out] Why do you hesitate? [Moana: I don't know.]"

Note: Says this to Moana before dying of old age. She tells her to leave Motunui, find Maui, and deliver him across the sea to restore the heart of Te Fiti. Later on, when that backfires, she returns to her as a stingray and turns into a phantom to comfort her. After Moana hesitates to return home, she sings an inspirational song to encourage her to do it on her own. After that, she disappears, never to be seen as a stingray until the very end of the film.
