"The Slovenian Presidency (of the European Council) has been the fourth Presidency of the Council of the EU to take place during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we did our best to ensure that most of the meetings were held in-person, which contributed to the successful closure of dossiers that had been waiting for this opportunity for some time. I am pleased that there have been 21 trialogues successfully concluded with the European Parliament, including some that dealt with quite challenging issues."
