Georgia Tourassi

is a Greek-American physicist, biomedical engineer, professor of radiology, expert on computing in biomedicine, and director of the National Center for Computational Sciences at the (ORNL). Born and educated at the undergraduate level in Greece, she holds 13 U.S. patents. Among her many honors, she was elected in 2017 a Fellow of the the (SPIE) and in 2020 a Fellow of the (AAAS).
