Notes: Weakened by the removal of Earth's magic, the near-omnipotent Mr. Mxyzptlk was left to wander Metropolis alone. Befriending Superman, he sensed that Ruin, a villain, had kryptonite traps waiting to kill the Man of Steel. He pushed him out of the way of a spear, and it pierced his heart. Just before Mr. Mxyzptlk died, he whispered his name backwards, which (in the series) sends him back to the Fifth Dimension, so he may have survived.
