"3 because the entire world is full of people who have sheer hatred for one another and that is moreso a fact than anything else. The very prevention of this hatred will result in even worse a fate for everyone...maintaining that prevention can end up being deadlier than the actual act which will send one to "hell". "4 Pithy Francoln (talk) 21:41, 7 October 2016 (UTC) To celebrate Earth Day (April 22nd), I propose discussing the solution (renewable energy) instead of simply complaining about the problem (impending global warming disaster)."
"Pithy Francoln (talk) 13:00, 21 March 2017 (UTC) I am indifferent as to whether the longer or shorter version of the above quote could be used. However, I do think that the challenge of global warming and adoption of renewable energy as a response to that challenge is of vital importance for our world community. I would love to see either one displayed as a quote of the day."

"3 Pithy Francoln (talk) 22:36, 11 October 2016 (UTC) This is such a great illustration, but any more talk just explaining the problem is less important now than discussing the solution (renewable energy)."
"3 Pithy Francoln (talk) 23:14, 11 October 2016 (UTC) This is also a great quote, but nowhere in there is a mention of renewable energy (the solution we must focus on to ensure long-term celebration of Earth Day for decades to come)."

Young though he was, his radiant energy produced such an impression of absolute reliability that Hedgewar made him the first sarkaryavah, or general secretary, of the RSS.
- Gopal Mukund Huddar
Largely because of the influence of communists in London, Huddar's conversion into an enthusiastic supporter of the fight against fascism was quick and smooth. The ease with which he crossed from one worldview to another betrays the fact that he had not properly understood the world he had grown in.
Huddar would have been 101 now had he been alive. But then centenaries are not celebrated only to register how old so and so would have been and when. They are usually celebrated to explore how much poorer our lives are without them. Maharashtrian public life is poorer without him. It is poorer for not having made the effort to recall an extraordinary life.
I regret I was not there to listen to Balaji Huddar's speech [...] No matter how many times you listen to him, his speeches are so delightful that you feel like listening to them again and again.
By the time he came out of Franco's prison, Huddar had relinquished many of his old ideas. He displayed a worldview completely different from that of the RSS, even though he continued to remain deferential to Hedgewar and maintained a personal relationship with him.
