"Our communion with the universal Church is fundamental but it is not a real communion without uniting our differences. We promote a "communion in diversity". What is important is for our experiences to be recognised and respected. The Bishops personally and in collegiality know how to understand in the culture of Madagascar what is compatible with the Gospel. Moreover we want our local Church to bring to Catholicism the graces of her witness."
