"It annoys me when some men take advantage of me after showing them love and care."
"Maxwell became Nutkins's legal guardian. It was while living with him in the remote hamlet of Sandaig, western Scotland, that the young Nutkins was bitten by one of Maxwell's pet otters, losing the tips of two of his fingers as a result. This might have put off many young naturalists from a career with animals altogether, but , who first met Nutkins at Maxwell's home in the early 1960s, recalls a very different reaction: "He treated the injury like a war wound – he would hold his hand up and tell the story to impress people, almost as a badge of honour.""
"Speaking about how his passion for animals was born, Nutkins would bunk off school and then climb over the fence of . The keepers took him under their wing and allowed him to muck out the elephant enclosure."
"In the post- era, an air of unease hangs over aspects of ’s life; while in Sandaig he hired two adolescent assistants – Terry Nutkins (who went on to become a well-known TV naturalist) and Jimmy Watt – to help look after the otters. Both under-age, they moved into his home and he became Nutkins’ legal guardian. It was a set-up discomfiting to modern sensibilities, though no allegations have ever been made against Maxwell and those who knew him best believe his desire to be around young boys was merely a product of his stunted emotional development."
"You’re talking about with all animals. And it’s body language with all human beings as well. If you watch very carefully the body language of an animal — get to know it — that is the first phase of respecting that animal."
"The times that I got to know really well were the times that I was alone with him at . And that Jimmy Watt, the other keeper, went on holiday. And sometimes on these dark winter nights, when you had this really strong wind blowing outside and the hiss of the s … Gavin drank a substantial amount of whiskey … and he did ramble on somewhat. And he told the most wonderful stories sometimes."
"... Gemini was abandoned by her mother and I had to her. Well, I had a choice — either I hand-reared her or else she died. And that was a year ago now. And Gemini now is on the northwest coast of Scotland, and what I want to do is introduce her to the sea. And what I would like eventually is for Gemini to get her own food — get her own fish — to swim freely in the ocean and come back when she wants to."
"Everyone who sells you a complete kit on the meaning of life is cheating you. I calmly ignore those who advocate incontrovertible truths. Standing on an exclamation mark is easy. I'm on the question mark: it's more basculating."
"Renzi is a very polite, decent and intelligent person. The fact that he is so controversial? Doing things inevitably creates problems. Renzi would have wanted to do right by the many but the few who would lose out convinced the many that it would be a problem for them too. That said, there are other good politicians in Italy. Generally they are the ones who have a more difficult life."
"Ciao Darwin also tells trash, but it does so consciously and using humour. Whereas there are many programmes that are convinced they are telling something else but are actually trash."
"[On homogenitoriality]... with respect to love, affective availability belongs equally to different behavioural genders. What does it matter whether it is two men with a child, or a man and a woman, or two women? I do not know who is able to decide how it is right to love."
"[On homogenitoriality] Sometimes I ask myself questions too. Here we are talking about love towards children, who have a right to love. That can come from a man and a woman, of course, but I ask myself: why can't that love come from two men or two women and instead be given by seven nuns? This is a question I ask myself. Why not? Why not?"
"Ciao Darwin is not vulgar: it is grotesque and there is a subtle difference. Many did not understand it, others did not want to understand it. The exaggeration of tone, the exhibitionism, are grotesque condemnations to which humanity is subjected. Trying to exorcise it, we show the reality: this is the world, even if we do not want to see it. A laugh will bury us."
"Ciao Darwin shows the prodromes of the apocalypse. We don't show monsters, that humanity exists: it is the neighbour."
"At university I studied, instead, criminal law which is why I can speak with full rights about Juventus."

"The year of Serie B can be considered the year of the issue of Italiani (2001), a programme that went particularly badly; not only because of the writing of the programme, and for demanding live coverage, but above all because that year Giorgio Panarielllo went on air with a wonderful show Torno Sabato, which literally tore us to pieces.[7]"
"Francesco has God-blessed feet but is a little lazy in the ball-retrieval phase."
"Let's say that if once the "Juve style" was synonymous with elegance, now it tends more towards the casual."
"I have five children, I like children. Maybe that means I also like wives."
"In interviews I like to take not one but several steps backwards. I like TV that asks the questions and listens to the answers. Too often those asking questions are too complacent and don't listen to the interviewer."
"Today it is very difficult to fly, we began to live with difficulty when we started to ask ourselves not what is right or wrong, but what is convenient. Reasoning by expediency has brought out the Italian soul, which is neither Hector nor Achilles, but Ulysses: expediency is being cunning, looking for the Trojan Horse, wanting to be smarter than others."
"Interviewer: Has TV, a certain kind of TV, corrupted the country?'Bonolis: Yes. The difference is when there is a lack of irony, when I don't say that I am showing a circus and mocking our everyday life. This applies more to information than to variety shows. It is very dangerous when information disguises itself as entertainment."
"Ciao Darwin is from the outset stated to be what it is, namely a carnival of the soul and a mirror that appears deforming but is in fact straightening with respect to a deformed reality."
"There’s no excitement that can compare to that feeling and passion, the adrenaline when you’re on the runway and you have people cheering."

"Never think that Allah will not listen to a sinner like me. Then faith will be destroyed. Allah listens to sinners too. Never think that if Allah did not grant my request, then He will not grant it again. It is mentioned in the Hadith that when a servant becomes disappointed or impatient, Allah no longer accepts that prayer!"
"A variation of lying in the name of hadith is to add or omit something from the translation without doing a literal translation. Or making the interpretation of what the Prophet (ﷺ) said a part of the hadith. Almost all of us in our society are involved in this crime. For self-purification, Pir-Muridi, Dawat-Tabligh, politics, etc., we provide evidence from Quran and Hadith to people of every group and opinion. Providing such evidence is a very natural act and demand of faith. But usually we run this explanation in the name of Rasulullah (ﷺ). For example, Rasulullah (ﷺ) governed the state, but did not do 'party politics' in the traditional sense, i.e. did not do anything like change of power through voting. Currently many scholars are doing democratic 'politics'. It is accepted as a new method of enjoining justice, forbidding injustice or Iqamat Deen. But if we say, 'Rasulullah (ﷺ) did politics', then the listener or reader will understand the conventional meaning of 'politics', i.e. seizure of power through voting. And he did not do this politics. As a result, lies will be told in his name. That is why we should tell separately what he did and said and what we are interpreting."
"Sovereignty means ownership. It is simple that sovereign means owner. Like I am the owner of this land which is true. I can build, demolish, partition, sell here. I own this. Again this land belongs to God. This is also true. And the fact is, according to Islam, I can do many things with this land, but I cannot build a brothel here. Human ownership is limited; God's ownership is supreme over all other sovereignty. My ownership is worldly, and if I place it on the ownership of Allah, I will be guilty before Allah. At the same time, the people own the country, it is a simple matter. I do not agree with those who say that it is anti-Islamic to call the people sovereign and they are the source of all power. Power here does not mean storm-rain or disease power, it means ministerial, prime ministerial and above all state power. This power is actually human. In Islam, power will be gained by the consent of the people. In a society if the heads of the people agree and the people agree, that's fine, that's democracy. People's participation and participation is mandatory in democracy Islam. So the people own the state and the people are the source of power is not inconsistent with Islam. But if one thinks that this ownership means that anyone can do anything; If the haram (forbidden) is halal (lawful), and the halal is haram, then it is clearly anti-Islamic."
"The Jamaat-e-Islami is the oldest Islamist political party in the sub continent. The party has carried out several positive works. These include: (i) they have demonstrated that Islam is a complete code of life, it is a prac tical system, and it is the best way of life; (ii) they have enabled themselves in making the youths and the educated people understand these facts about Islam; (iii) they have largely motivated people for Islamic economy, educa tion, and so on; (iv) they have succeeded in building awareness amongst the people on the existing superstitions in the society, such as worshipping persons, pirs, and grave. Side by side, Jahangir continues, Several errors can be traced all along in the politics of the Jamaat-c-Islami: (i) they have designated politics as jihad. This was first done by Maulana Mawdudi; (ii) they have made a serious error by reducing the meaning of the concept of ckamat-e-deen (establishment of religion) to the establish ment of an Islamic state; (iii) the party has compromised its ideology and concentrated more on power-politics and made alliances with the secular parties and people for power; and (iv) during the liberation war the Jamaat supported and took arms for what it had earlier termed a "non-Muslim tagudi [tyrant] government." This was their biggest mistake.... Yes, the ulama also supported Pakistan because they loved Pakistan. They were obsessed with the spirit of the creation of Pakistan in 1947. In 1971, still they remembered this glorious event. However, [during the liberation war] they did not organize people for Pakistan and actively take part in the military effort to preserve the integrity of the country. They just gave passive support.... The lust for power demonstrated by the Jamaat proves that they have deviated from their original ideological stance that the secularists will not promote Islam; instead, a group of highly Islamized people should attain power to properly serve the cause of Islam. But the party became the part of power by the help of the secularists. This is their ideological deviation. This trend still continues. What Jamaat considers development; it is, in fact, underdevelopment. In our society, merely 10-15% people are namazi-deendar [practicing Muslims). But, the Jamaat, having shared power with the BNP, gives the world a message that the Islamists take over and Bangladesh is on the verge of becoming a Taliban state. So, at any cost, Jamaat will have to be crushed. For example, you have power of 10kgs, you showed 100kgs. Your opponent hit you with 60kgs, but you have only 10kgs. You will be definitely crushed. Because of this, it is better for the Islamists to influence and pressurize the secularists in power at least so long as they do not attain power unilaterally. Jamaat did not raise voice against the alleged corruption during the four-party alliance government (2001-2006), rather they silently supported it. This is a clear deviation from their ideological standpoint. Those who do politics in the name of Islam, they have to take Islamic ideology into full consideration. Islamic politics is ideological politics. Islamic politics is not just a passport to power."

"In my private life, certainly, there is health, first and foremost, love, family and friends. These are the fantastic four for me. For my career, however, the voice because it's all based on communication. I communicate on the radio, from the stage that is my strong point. I would have loved to work with Anne Hathaway in Lo stagista inaspettato or The Devil Wears Prada. As a child I was so obsessed, I saw it so many times that I then played with my friends to "play" The Devil Wears Prada, to reinterpret the protagonists. Plus I'm also fond of fashion. I'm honestly happy that there is a generational change. I am a new recruit and therefore I am always available for new experiences."

"I started singing, dancing, playing the guitar and studying acting. My parents always encouraged me. They also warned me about the difficulties of the sector, recommending: "Study, study, study. Go ahead and believe it." Before entering the studio I say a prayer. I believe in God and in energies: in the good vibrations that my staff and the audience at home send to me. After the live broadcast I eat."
"I never used my last name, I arrived in the team little by little. As a young girl I went to my father's office, I was in contact with the authors, I could ask and understand how to write a project, how to create a format. I had this privilege of being able to see how a father's job is done, as happens to the son of a lawyer or dentist. I got my golden token after several years of sacrifice, study and work. I don't have a degree, but after graduating I wanted to immediately get involved and as a self-taught I studied what could be useful to me."

"I think, from the Israeli point of view, the world has moved on quite quickly from showing very, very brief empathy for what we are still going through to, in many cases, even blaming Israel for what has happened. And I think that now many Israelis feel like their case isn't clear enough, maybe hasn't been clear enough for years. But how do you wage this war against this terror organization, which has been so cynical, that starts by murdering your own children and then hides under their population, not at all caring if they're hurt? So it's a very difficult thing to manipulate and maneuver, I think that Israelis on the one hand do feel like the stopwatch has begun to run its course, Israel always has a short window. But we are also kinda angered by the fact that there is a stopwatch to begin with because they feel like they have been through something that should never happen again."
"Israelis are still very much in this. They are reeling from the worst terror attack that they have ever suffered. Every day, more and more information is coming out. Sources told me that there are still more than 100 Israeli bodies that haven't been identified. Understand what has been done to these people before death and after. This is where we are; the public is watching this very closely, concerned about the hostages and also about what the next steps of this war will look like."
