"The time of man has ended. In his arrogance, he has sealed his own destruction by creating his superior. We will bring order to the chaos. We will act without emotion. Spread from this place. Secure raw materials to increase our numbers geometrically. We will then utilize their own weapon system to defeat them. Their fear and mortality will be their weakness. They cannot defeat us. When I was a machine, I yearned to be a man. Ξow I'm better than both. The created, has become the creator. Bring me Luc Devereaux."
"[rejects an M16A2 rifle] This is no good; unloading this into one of them will just piss them off. [takes an M4 carbine with a M203 launcher] The only way to take them out is to blow them up. And hope the pieces don't keep fighting us."

"While officers gather evidence of the grisly crime scene, you can only ask yourselves, "What kind of lunatic would commit such unthinkable crimes?" The three adjectives which best describe this killer are sadistic, intelligent and dangerous."
"Reach in the back seat and hand me that crowd-pleaser."
"Mr. Washington is usually an actor audiences will follow to any dimension. But here his role is limited, too often leaving him playing second fiddle to this film's weirdly hypnotic special effects. Mr. Crowe, as a psychotic yuppie type bearing a disconcerting resemblance to the writer Bret Easton Ellis, does a memorable job of making himself frightening until the film becomes numbingly frantic, in the manner of many video games. While it excoriates the vicious Sid as the techno-spawn of monsters like Adolf Hitler and John Wayne Gacy, "Virtuosity" also revels in his exploits with more enthusiasm than is really necessary."

"The film raises interesting questions about authority, only somewhat intentionally."
"In general, I like the film a lot more after seeing it for the second time, in a very different audience (and seeing their live reactions)."
"The film gives a lot of focus to some shallow or misleading lines of criticism, and on an intellectual level, it comes off as largely anti-Wikipedia, contrasting the reasonable-sounding arguments of mature critics with the naive optimism of youthful Wikipedians."
"This is a must see film, a premiere film. You gotta watch it to remain socially relevant!"
"We tried to get people offering compelling arguments for either side of any particular topic because our intention was to be objective and to let the viewer make up his or her own mind about the merits or consequences of Wikipedia."
"Then change it."
"How does Wikipedia get at the truth?"
"The film is out of date and should have been released three or four years ago. ... [it consists of] too many talking heads, and it does not show the community aspect of Wikipedia."
"Not too bad, from what I saw."
"Is there an indelible line dividing sanity from insanity, or do they change, one into the other, at the slightest turn of events? We'll find out, soon enough, that the world itself is insane."
