"The foamed concrete used in this investigation was a 500- to 880-kg/m3 (31-to 55-lb/ft3) mixture that did not contain aggregate. Admixture materials, dispersing agents, chopped synthetic fiber, and s were added to the foamed concrete to improve the strength and toughness and produce a more uniform material. The particular type of foamed concrete prepared for this research program would be classed as a neat-cement cellular concrete modified with admixtures (Legatski 1994)."
