'The greatest happiness of my life was escaping from that cruel and raging tyrant.' That seemed like a good reply then, and now it seems even better. Old age frees you from that sort of thing and gives you peace, and when your desires relax and stop driving you it's exactly as Sophocles said: release from bondage to a pack of raging tyrants."
