"Fugue states or severe headaches prior to or after overt necrophilic behavior have also been reported. Coupled with the fact that alcohol (one of the factors associated with necrophilia) can induce temporal lobe abnormalities, and that temporal lobe abnormalities are associated with a number of other paraphilias, it may be reasonable to deduce that temporal lobe anomalies may be responsible for some instances of necrophilia."
