There's definitely a problem with quotes that seem to have "lyrical validity" and are thus accepted, when in fact, in the real world it is rather obvious that the opposite is true. There may be some "wisdom" gained in looking at the world in such a way for a moment, but often upon realistic observation, they prove absurd. I choose the guardian angel...."
