He had contact with Kurschak, some with the brilliant Alfred Haar, and a little with the internationally known Frigyes Riesz. He was taught more directly by Michael Fekete (whose surname in Hungarian means “black”) and Leopold Fejer (feher is Hungarian for “white”)."
