"MAGA activist Charlie Kirk, who was shot dead while speaking at a university campus in Utah on Wednesday, was well known for his outspoken opinions on a number of hot-button political issues. The 31-year-old co-founder of Turning Point USA, a key ally of President Donald Trump, was shot in the neck by a sniper’s bullet at an event at Utah Valley University in Orem and was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. A police manhunt for the gunman is ongoing. A Chicago-born son of an architect, Kirk co-founded Turning Point when he was just 18 years old alongside businessman Bill Montgomery with the aim of promoting conservative values in America’s universities and colleges."
