"We come from the ancient nomadic culture which was very famous for its oral art. There was a huge cultural institution of bardism and ?. They were improvisers in music and they were improvisers in verses. Dimash Qudaibergen is representing that part of our culture. But he is a modern superstar. He is a superstar in Asia already. He is now mastering the European or Western part of the world. Today we have him performing in the O2 Centre. He is a kind of a child prodigy. He has a fantastic unique voice. His vocal register range is from bass to soprano. He has a unique voice. His register covers both female and male octaves. He even sings in the whisper register. Which is quite unique. Therefore, I think, by seeing him, the British public would be able to judge the level of music culture in Kazakhstan. He is a bridge and link between our ancient roots, cultural roots and modernity."
