The Middle Ages of the Romanesque Cathedral, although rebuilt inside, of the Palace of the Popes, which dates back to the end of the thirteenth century, with its powerful Gothic arches, and of some districts with narrow streets, external stairways, severed towers, archivolts, is superimposed on the work of centuries later, the loggia of Vignola, many noble palaces.
