The Amazing World of Gumball (2011–2019), otherwise widely known as simply The World of Gumball, World of Gumball or Gumball, is an animated television series created by Ben Bocquelet for Cartoon Network that was revealed on March 4, 2011 and with first episode aired on May 3, 2011. The series revolves around the lives of 12-year-old Gumball Watterson, a blue cat, and his goldfish best friend—adoptive brother 10-year-old Darwin, who attends middle school in the fictional city of Elmore.
