Mary Muthoni Nyanjiru

Mary Muthoni Nyanjiru (? – 16 March 1922) was a Kikuyu political activist in colonial Kenya. Born in Weithaga, Murang’a County, she lived in Nairobi with her stepdaughter Elizabeth Waruiru when she became involved in protests following the arrest of Harry Thuku in 1922.
