Hibo Wardere

Hibo Wardere (born 1960s) was born in Mogadishu, Somalia, underwent type III Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) at the age of six. At 18, she fled Somalia during the civil war and sought refuge in the United Kingdom in 1989.
