"Bird was bad in our last game, now it seems she's extra lame!"
"No, no, no... It's all too painful to watch. Gamers today don't want all this, they just want to shoot things! But as we're broadening the demographic, I'll have to think of something original. Hmmm. Very well then, failures, listen carefully."
"I wish they could stay like this, but I suppose you people would actually like to take part in this game. Now then. In line with Banjo tradition, your challenge will consist of collecting as many pointless objects as possible. Let the Collectathon commence!"
"Your name is odd and you look a bit queer, so tell old Grunty what brings L.O.G. here?"
"This sounds like a preposterous ruse, what'll you do if we refuse?"
"Aw, not acorns again!"
"Hey, a single!"
"Yeah, a double!"
"Awesome, a triple!"
"Yes! Home run!"
"Okay, here’s how this works. After a ball gets deflected, it’ll pop in the air and you can catch it before it lands. Once the ball is popped up, just get under its shadow then catch it as it’s falling."

"Acorns, acorns, acorns. Why is it always about acorns?"
"Great, an acorn."
"First the movie, now the merchandising? Aw! I hate these things!"
"What will they come up with next, chew toys?"
"There’s gotta be another way in. I just gotta find some change."
"They don’t even look like me!"
"I love these things!"
"Devastating? Perhaps but not defeated."
"Today’s a new day, today’s a new day."
"Revenge is mine, I cannot miss, let's see that furry fool dodge this!"
"Hold on, sis, I'm nearly there, I've just been to blast that bear!"
"No, no, Klungo, you stay here, I'll be back, have no fear!"
"No, no, no, this cannot be! What happened to little old me?"
"He wasn't the favorite character in Banjo-Kazooie anyway..."
"Great, I get to peck some more witch butt! Let's go, Banjo!"
"Leave it to me, he's no hassle! I'll kick butt, then off to the castle!"
"Right then, girls, let's fix me up, then Banjo's hairy butt I'll whup!"
"I hate bones, a body I need, can you help with this little deed?"
"P-perhaps one of us s-should g-go t-take a l-look outside..."
"Sure was noisy. Let's go take a look, Kazooie."
"He's right! Quick, everyone out!"
"Well, at least everyone got out safely..."
"It's worse than that......Grunty's killed poor Bottles!"
"Sigh... I've a feeling it's not going to be so easy this time..."
"Don't be so sure, Banjo..."
"Hey! Look outside, everyone! Grunty the witch is coming!"

"C'mon, bone face, let's play. I feel lucky!"
"B-but it's dark out there and...Err, I'll be scared..."
"What a sucker, huh? C'mon, Banjo, gimme a hand..."
"Guess I'll be having that birdseed after all, huh, Banjo?"
"Yeah, yeah, skull boy, and I bet she had two heads!"

Young though he was, his radiant energy produced such an impression of absolute reliability that Hedgewar made him the first sarkaryavah, or general secretary, of the RSS.
- Gopal Mukund Huddar
Largely because of the influence of communists in London, Huddar's conversion into an enthusiastic supporter of the fight against fascism was quick and smooth. The ease with which he crossed from one worldview to another betrays the fact that he had not properly understood the world he had grown in.
Huddar would have been 101 now had he been alive. But then centenaries are not celebrated only to register how old so and so would have been and when. They are usually celebrated to explore how much poorer our lives are without them. Maharashtrian public life is poorer without him. It is poorer for not having made the effort to recall an extraordinary life.
I regret I was not there to listen to Balaji Huddar's speech [...] No matter how many times you listen to him, his speeches are so delightful that you feel like listening to them again and again.
By the time he came out of Franco's prison, Huddar had relinquished many of his old ideas. He displayed a worldview completely different from that of the RSS, even though he continued to remain deferential to Hedgewar and maintained a personal relationship with him.
