"John DiMaggio - Bizarro"
"It’s Superman’s fortress. It’s where he learned who he was and where he came for guidance. [finds crystal] Just what I came for."
"He’s back. Just as I’m about to achieve my biggest triumph, that Boy Scout in blue tights decides to come back! But then again, as I’ve always said to pull off the greatest crime of the century, one would want the greatest challenge of the century. Well, Superman, you’re going to wish you never returned."
"You see, the technology of Krypton, Superman’s home world, was based on manipulating the growth of crystals. Cities, vehicles, weapons, entire continents all grown! To think one could create a new world with such a simple little object."
"For five long years, the world has stared into the sky waiting, hoping and praying for his return. We have spent our days asking where he went and debated why he left and wondered if he was even alive. We have become so accustomed to looking into the sky for help that we have forgotten to save ourselves. Yet disasters have come and gone since he left us. Mankind has learned how to survive without him and perhaps we no longer even need Superman. But on the anniversary of his disappearance, one question remains. Where is Superman?"
"In the past days, we have seen our beloved city attacked by dark, sinister forces. Metropolis was nearly destroyed by tornadoes, earthquakes and a rampage of notorious villains. Finally, we survived one maniac’s twisted dream that would have destroyed all we hold dear. The Man of Steel would have given his life and nearly did to save us. We live. Every man, woman and child because a strange visitor from another planet with powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men had long ago decided to walk among us. I asked the question. Does the world still need Superman? The answer is yes."
"Brandon Routh - Superman"

"The brilliance is in the victory, Kanto and now it is time to test the capabilities of this Earth man. Even with these weapons, I am curious if this mortal can actually complete his task. The eradication of the Last Son of Krypton."
"Perhaps too inventive. It is an admirable quality albeit driven by greed. As surely as Superman will fall, Lex Luthor's activities must be closely monitored. Do I make myself clear, Kanto?"
"Yes. And I shall be watching both of you closely. Very closely indeed, Superman."
"Tim Daly - Superman"

Young though he was, his radiant energy produced such an impression of absolute reliability that Hedgewar made him the first sarkaryavah, or general secretary, of the RSS.
- Gopal Mukund Huddar
Largely because of the influence of communists in London, Huddar's conversion into an enthusiastic supporter of the fight against fascism was quick and smooth. The ease with which he crossed from one worldview to another betrays the fact that he had not properly understood the world he had grown in.
Huddar would have been 101 now had he been alive. But then centenaries are not celebrated only to register how old so and so would have been and when. They are usually celebrated to explore how much poorer our lives are without them. Maharashtrian public life is poorer without him. It is poorer for not having made the effort to recall an extraordinary life.
I regret I was not there to listen to Balaji Huddar's speech [...] No matter how many times you listen to him, his speeches are so delightful that you feel like listening to them again and again.
By the time he came out of Franco's prison, Huddar had relinquished many of his old ideas. He displayed a worldview completely different from that of the RSS, even though he continued to remain deferential to Hedgewar and maintained a personal relationship with him.
