"A fasted brain can be laser-focused. By implementing elongated fasting and shrinking our eating window to only consume one meal a day, we’re stimulating autophagy, where new cells eat old cells, evoking neuronal regeneration. This is attained by fasting for 23 hours a day, 48 hours once a week, and 72 hours once per month."

This predictive state, based on tactical successes and data metrics, shows where the tech needs to go."

They will ensure that these systems are designed and deployed in an unbiased manner and will eliminate issues around privacy, fairness, transparency and accountability. In so doing, all platforms created will align with societal values, mitigating risk across all industries."
"We spent a lot of time trying to understand what GPT-4 is capable of,” Brockman said. “Getting it out in the world is how we learn. We’re constantly making updates, include a bunch of improvements, so that the model is much more scalable to whatever personality or sort of mode you want it to be in. There’s policy issues like facial recognition and how to treat images of people that we need to address and work through. We need to figure out, like, where the sort of danger zones are — where the red lines are — and then clarify that over time."

"GPT-4 isn’t perfect, but neither are you."
Young though he was, his radiant energy produced such an impression of absolute reliability that Hedgewar made him the first sarkaryavah, or general secretary, of the RSS.
- Gopal Mukund Huddar
Largely because of the influence of communists in London, Huddar's conversion into an enthusiastic supporter of the fight against fascism was quick and smooth. The ease with which he crossed from one worldview to another betrays the fact that he had not properly understood the world he had grown in.
Huddar would have been 101 now had he been alive. But then centenaries are not celebrated only to register how old so and so would have been and when. They are usually celebrated to explore how much poorer our lives are without them. Maharashtrian public life is poorer without him. It is poorer for not having made the effort to recall an extraordinary life.
I regret I was not there to listen to Balaji Huddar's speech [...] No matter how many times you listen to him, his speeches are so delightful that you feel like listening to them again and again.
By the time he came out of Franco's prison, Huddar had relinquished many of his old ideas. He displayed a worldview completely different from that of the RSS, even though he continued to remain deferential to Hedgewar and maintained a personal relationship with him.
