"We’ve all been hurt, some more than others. We’ve all been let down, some bounce back quicker than others. We are all Human. If you see someone struggling with letting go of a situation, pray with/for them. Sometimes all they need is time to get there on their own. Don’t be mean, don’t play judge, don’t talk down at them, don’t act like you are better than them, don’t get irritated, don’t use their life for gist. Remember that you too were once where they are now, you too once loved someone who didn’t love you back and you took your time. Even when they make silly decisions or stumble and fall, keep showing them the light, Be kind."
"For me, it is all about doing what I have to do and in the end, it turns out alright. Even when it doesn’t turn out fine, I learn my lesson and move on, knowing that there are no mistakes in life. I believe that everything basically happens for one’s good, and one takes those experiences with one to the next level."
"A perfect life is a dream."
"A lot of women stay in unhealthy marriages for the children. For the longest you hear so many women say things like, ‘the marriage is done but I only stay for my kids'"
"I think once you look at life like that you never want to change anything because regret is so exhausting."
"Hard work involves a lot of sacrifice at any level. Whether you’re in university, starting a business, or already running a business, you’re always going to have to sacrifice something for the greater gain. The moment you feel comfortable, you’re on your way out. You have to be passionate enough and have enough conviction in what you’re doing."
"If you suffer from social anxiety maybe read books, watch movies, take a break. Never stop working on yourself."
"I think it’s important for anyone out there to keep up with the times and understand the times they’re in."
Young though he was, his radiant energy produced such an impression of absolute reliability that Hedgewar made him the first sarkaryavah, or general secretary, of the RSS.
- Gopal Mukund Huddar
Largely because of the influence of communists in London, Huddar's conversion into an enthusiastic supporter of the fight against fascism was quick and smooth. The ease with which he crossed from one worldview to another betrays the fact that he had not properly understood the world he had grown in.
Huddar would have been 101 now had he been alive. But then centenaries are not celebrated only to register how old so and so would have been and when. They are usually celebrated to explore how much poorer our lives are without them. Maharashtrian public life is poorer without him. It is poorer for not having made the effort to recall an extraordinary life.
I regret I was not there to listen to Balaji Huddar's speech [...] No matter how many times you listen to him, his speeches are so delightful that you feel like listening to them again and again.
By the time he came out of Franco's prison, Huddar had relinquished many of his old ideas. He displayed a worldview completely different from that of the RSS, even though he continued to remain deferential to Hedgewar and maintained a personal relationship with him.
