The Middle (2009–2018) is an American sitcom, airing on ABC, about the daily mishaps of a married woman and her semi-dysfunctional family and their attempts to survive life in general in the town of Orson, Indiana. On May 22, 2018, ABC ended the series after 9 seasons. In 2023, it was announced there will be a new version and it will have a new name. In the Middle. The show is set to reboot in 2025.
