Fe del Mundo

Fe del Mundo (born on November 27, 1911 - August 6, 2011) was a Filipino paediatrician who founded the first pediatric hospital in the Philippines and helped shape the country's modern child healthcare system. She is known as the first woman to be named National scientist of the Philippines ,She gained an International recognition, include Ramon Magsaysay Award for Public service in 1977, and the first Asian to be voted president of the Medical Women's International Association.
