Edward Gordon Craig
Edward Gordon Craig (16 January 1872 – 29 July 1966), sometimes known as Gordon Craig, was an English modernist theatre practitioner; he worked as an actor, producer, director and scenic designer, as well as developing an influential body of theoretical writings. He was the son of Ellen Terry, and had many children by many women, including Isadora Duncan, with whom he had a daughter, Deirdre (1906–13), who drowned at the age of seven.
