"[Voiceover] Just like cocks, power comes in all different shapes and sizes. You name it. Sex, money, class, politics. Or just the sheer will to put the other man down and leave 'em bleeding on the floor. But power is nothing without respect. If they don't respect you, sooner or later some cunt is gonna come along and take that power away from you."

"[Voiceover] Actually, hang on a minute, I'm getting way ahead of myself. [Montage of film's key moments flash] To really understand where this all started, we have to go back a bit. [Scene of waiting at bus stop] Back to when I met the man who changed everything. [Scene of nightclub] No, not him, that's just a mark. And not him, either. That's Adam. Think of him like Fagin to me Artful Dodger. Wherever he could pinch, he took his cut and watched my back."
"[Voiceover, referring to Rob at nightclub] No, I'm talking about the other bloke in the background who I didn't even see coming."
"[Voiceover, of Rob fighting nightclub security] That's Rob McNaughton. The future love of my life. Ex-marine, ex-con, excellent in bed as it turned out. And oh, yeah, extremely fucking dangerous as it turns out. [He's holding a security man on shoulder] Billy Baraka, a mercenary from Angola. Grew up fighting for freedom in the civil war before fighting for cash in the Congo. Teamed up with Rob 20 years ago. [Billy throws security man on floor] And they've had each other's back ever since. [Billy punches security man in the face] Danny Oswald, ex-SAS. Served his time in the sandbox, before going into the private sector and putting his skills to better use. Namely, profit. [He slams a security man's head on bar counter] He met Rob in a South African jail. Been thick as thieves for ten years now. [Danny shocks security man using a taser and bar counter puddle] These were the Three Musketeers. "All for one and one for all". And anyone that fucked with them, came a cropper."
"[Voiceover while driving in Tenerife, the Canary Island] I know what you've gonna say, this man is into some shady shit. He's into some shady shit, but I didn't care. If I wasn't willing to risk it all for love, then what's the point?"
"[Voiceover] Days came and went. Bruises healed and me and Rob got closer and closer. Anyone who've ever been in love will know exactly what I'm talking about. It's the best drug there is. And I was as high as a fucking kite."
"[Voiceover] Charlie, looks like royalty, swears like a docker."
"[Voiceover, walking through backyard] It was like coming home for the first time and the whole gang was here."
"[Voiceover, after fight with a rapist] What can I tell you? It was him or me. But looking at him lying there bleeding on the floor, I didn't feel a fucking thing. Maybe I was more like me old man than I thought. But I also knew I rocked the boat big time. And I didn't know how Rob would take it."
"[Voiceover, in shower] I never felt so empty in all my life. I couldn't feel pain. I couldn't feel anything. My one true love was gone, just like that. All I could do was take what I could carry and get the fuck out."
"[Voiceover, henchman open van backdoors] Lee-Roy and Nacho, Tom's muscle and a right pair of cunts."
"[Voiceover] Like Victor said, it pays to keep your family close. This is Jono, Baraka's nephew and our first recruit."
"[Voiceover, walking to vehicle] At the end of the day, I am what I am. I talk dirty, I hit hard, I drink my vodka straight. [Gets in vehicle] And I don't take shit from anyone. [The Ghost of Rob appears alongside Scarlett] I've loved, I've lost. I've taken power and I've earned my respect. Revenge may be a dish best served cold but it taste bitter sweet. [Drives off] I did what I had to do and now I choose to walk away. Because that's what Rob would have wanted. [Sees Jono riding behind on motorcycle] Riff. [Jono detonates explosives in Scarlett's vehicle] Hold your horses, did I say you could leave yet? [Scarlett had escaped the vehicle prior to implosion and Jono rides up] My name is Duchess and I live by one simple rule. Never let 'em see me coming. [In scene] Oi! [Jono turns and Scarlett punches him in the face]"
"[To approaching security man] Think it over. [Security man walks away]"

Young though he was, his radiant energy produced such an impression of absolute reliability that Hedgewar made him the first sarkaryavah, or general secretary, of the RSS.
- Gopal Mukund Huddar
Largely because of the influence of communists in London, Huddar's conversion into an enthusiastic supporter of the fight against fascism was quick and smooth. The ease with which he crossed from one worldview to another betrays the fact that he had not properly understood the world he had grown in.
Huddar would have been 101 now had he been alive. But then centenaries are not celebrated only to register how old so and so would have been and when. They are usually celebrated to explore how much poorer our lives are without them. Maharashtrian public life is poorer without him. It is poorer for not having made the effort to recall an extraordinary life.
I regret I was not there to listen to Balaji Huddar's speech [...] No matter how many times you listen to him, his speeches are so delightful that you feel like listening to them again and again.
By the time he came out of Franco's prison, Huddar had relinquished many of his old ideas. He displayed a worldview completely different from that of the RSS, even though he continued to remain deferential to Hedgewar and maintained a personal relationship with him.
