Corrado Gini
Corrado Gini (23 May 1884 – 13 March 1965) was an Italian statistician, demographer and sociologist who developed the Gini coefficient, a measure of the income inequality in a society. Demography remained one of Gini’s chief interests, and he later advanced a cyclical theory of population. He developed the theory of dispersion in Variabilità e Mutabilità (1912) and the concentration ratio.
