He was the greatest archer in the epic and had the highest achievements more than any other warrior in his military career. He alone conquered the world on a single chariot. He fought against the Pandavas (his brothers) as a friend of Duryodhana, he fought on his behalf against the Pandavas in the Kurukshetra War.
