Wang Zhenyi

Wang Zhenyi (1768–1797) was a scientist from the Qing dynasty, who breached the feudal customs of the time, which hindered women's rights, by working to educate herself and make contributions in the fields of astronomy, mathematics (especially trigonometry), and poetry.
