Khan Abdul Ghaffar Khan (in Pashto ؎ا٠ؚبد) اŮŘşŮاع ؎اŮ)) (date of Birth 1890 â 20 January 1988), also known as Badshah Khan ("King Khan") was a pashtun non-violent activist. He is also noted for his association with Mahatma Gandhi, which earned him the name "Frontier Gandhi". He led his non-violent Khudai Khidmatgar movement against the British Raj in the 1930s and 1940s.
