"I think the strongest aspect of Batman Beyond would be what it did to extrapolate and build the legend of Batman. The idea of Bruce eventually training a young man to replace him is a great one, especially when set against the dynamic world of the future they envisioned."

"The Transformers! More than meets the eye!"
"Autobots wage their battle to destroy the evil forces of the Decepticons!"
"The Transformers! Robots in disguise!"
"The Transformers!"
"Fleeing the wars that devastated their home planet of Cybertron, most of the Autobots made Earth their temporary home. Under the leadership of the powerful robot Optimus Prime, the heroic Autobots battled fearlessly against the assaults of the evil Decepticons, protecting their new human friends. Now it is the year 2006, and the Autobots have reclaimed the planet of their origin, Cybertron, to establish a new Golden Age. In migrating from Earth, they have been reunited with companions from other regions of the galaxy, including Sky Lynx, the gigantic space shuttle, Blurr, the fastest car on wheels, Kup, the flinty old warrior, Wheelie, who always offers advice in rhymes, Springer, the mighty helicopter, Arcee, a forceful female Autobot, and Wreck-Gar, the leader the leader of a tribe of Autobots that dwells on the planet Junkion. The Autobots have a new leader, Rodimus Prime, who inherited from Optimus Prime the Autobot Matrix of Leadership. As a receptacle of the wisdom of Autobot leaders for the past millions of years, the Matrix helps Rodimus guide the Autobots in their darkest hours, as they fight to end the tyranny of the evil Decepticons."
"The Decepticons are a malevolent race of robot warriors, brutal and merciless. The Decepticons are driven by a single undeviating goal: total domination of the universe. In the war that raged between the Autobots and the Decepticons for millions of years, their home planet Cybertron was drained of its once rich sources of energy. In hopes of finding new reserves for making Energon, their basic fuel, the Decepticons followed the Autobots to Earth. Under the leadership of the ruthless Megatron, they continued their efforts to destroy the remaining Autobot forces. They attacked throughout the Earth and in space, using their underwater Decepticon headquarters as their staging base and bunker. But, by the year 2000, the Decepticons had proven to be the losers of the last great war. In an attempt to bolster the Decepticons' strength, the evil planet-gobbling world Unicron reformed Megatron into a new robot named Galvatron to lead the Decepticons in a new era. Now, in 2006, the Decepticons have retreated to a burned out hulk of a planet called Chaar, a world of ash and ruin. Galvatron and his Decepticon lieutenants, the sleek and awesome Cyclonus, and the mighty Scourge, the master of the dreaded Sweeps, strike fear throughout the universe. Their ultimate goal: to reconquer Cybertron and destroy the Autobots."
"The Quintessons are sinister robotic creatures with five sided heads, each side with a different face, including the face of death. These tentacled beings, who travel on beams of energy, are cruel and emotionless, and the creators of all the Transformers on Cybertron millions of years ago. The Quintessons never intended their intelligent machines to develop emotions. But, to their horror, the Transformers rose up against their masters and drove them away from Cybertron. The Quintessons retreated to a planet they named Quintessa, where they lived a stark and barren existence with their Sharkticon guards. Sinister and vicious, lacking any individualistic intelligence, the Sharkticons usually serve as executioners for their Quintesson masters, who toss condemned victims into the Sharkticon pit. The Quintessons finally decided to blow up their planet Quintessa, to try to prevent Autobot captives and invaders from escaping. Their plot to destroy the Autobots failed. And now, without a world of their own, they roam the universe with their Sharkticons, making victims of whatever luckless beings cross their path. Their goal is to regain control of Cybertron and eradicate all Autobots and Decepticons. Yet, so manipulative and cunning are they, that they even tricked the Decepticons into helping them achieve their aim."
"Like the untamed forces of nature, the Predacons are ferocious animal robots who lash out with fury. Swift, savage and always relying on animal instinct, the Predacons explode into action. There's Divebomb, the eagle who can spot a target from a mile up in the sky, Rampage, the tiger who can leap 500 feet, Headstrong, the rhino who can puncture 8 feet of solid rock, Tantrum, the buffalo who loves to use brute force, and there's the Predacon commander, Razorclaw, whose claws can rip through steel. Together, they combine into a hair-trigger horror, the giant robot Predaking. As a warrior, Predaking has no equal. As a weapon, he has no known weaknesses. He can lift 500 tons without even straining a circuit. With the help of the Predacons, no planet is too wild or untamed for the Decepticons to conquer. The Autobots are forced to find new defenses against the mechanical menace, Predaking."
"From the secret files of Teletraan II: Ultra Magnus is the most mature spokesman for the Autobot cause. As a soldier, he is always practical and serious. And he is so loved by his fellow Autobots that Wheelie and Daniel traveled millions of miles to the Autobot records asteroid, just so they could find out Ultra Magnus's birthday. In his vehicle mode, Ultra Magnus is an armored transport truck, a machine with magnificent fighting skills. His enemies, the Decepticons, respect his courage, but most of all, they fear Ultra Magnus's spirit of self-sacrifice. He always thinks first of the welfare of his fellow Autobots and his mission."
"The volcano headquarters of the Autobots on Earth was destroyed in a Decepticon attack. Now, in the year 2006, Autobot City has become the new Autobot base. Autobot City is also a Transformer, known as Metroplex, with the capacity to transform from city mode to a battle station, or to a giant robot. Metroplex is the Autobots' last line of defense, the robot they depend upon when all other options fail. When Metroplex transforms to a robot, some of his modular components from smaller, separate robots: Six-Gun, the ideal defensive battle scout, Slammer, the tank, and Scamper, the tough little car that berths in Metroplex's city ramp. To counter the power of Metroplex on Earth, the Decepticons have built Decepticon city, known as Trypticon. The city can transform to battle station mode, becoming a mobile menace with X-ray lasers and twin photon cannons. Trypticon also has a dinosaur mode, an immense walking reptilian form that crushes anything in its path. Metroplex and Trypticon are each other's deadliest enemies. Whenever they approach one another, they lock in battle and engage in incredible combat, and the victor and their epic struggles may someday turn the tide of battle in favor of either the Decepticons or the Autobots. Which will it be?"
"From the secret files of Teletraan II: In the days of Megatron, Decepticons developed the art of espionage, using cassette technology. Their first cassette, Laserbeak, could fly undetected into any Autobot stronghold, record information and then return to base. Then the Decepticons decided to increase their spying abilities with Ratbat. As a bat, Ratbat can hide in crevices that Laserbeak can't reach, and he's especially effective in tunnels, caves or in the darkness of space. Ratbat records from the Autobots' most carefully guarded secrets. The Autobots had no choice but to strike back with these Decepticons techniques of stealth, building a force of cassette Transformers of their own, with Blaster as their guardian. They constructed Ramhorn, the rhino who can use animalistic force if cornered, and Steeljaw, the lion who can crawl through the foliage of any alien world, to sneak up on Decepticons. They also bolstered their cassette force with Rewind and Eject, who can transform to robot mode and use more conventional fighting force techniques."

"As alluded to in the first two seasons and explicitly shown in the third season, the humans are analogous to animals in the eyes of vampires. There is commentary to be explored about Hector seen as an animal and his treatment being based upon what type of animal he represents: livestock, a beast of burden or a pet. It is refreshing to see men sexually dominated in the same serious way that women have been on screen. Though I am not condoning such actions in real life, conveying gender equality — even in the darkest ways in which film and television do — is important to elicit reactions from the viewer."
"Where the show falters isn’t in the ideas themselves, but how they are executed. For instance the show spends the first episode making Dracula into sympathetic character as opposed to cartoonish vil-lain with no real motivation beyond an unjustified drive to be evil. And yet, the cartoonish villain role still materializes, when it becomes apparent that the season’s true antagonist is the Church. The clergy not only invoke Dracula’s wrath by burning his wife to death as a witch, but then spend the next three episodes actively impeding anyone who might stop Dracula — for no other reason a vague notion of controlling the masses."
"Characters’ goals can turn with little more incentive than a twist of dialogue. Trevor is a selfish man and reluctant hero weighed down by his family’s legacy, at least until an old man tells him enough times that he needs to protect people from Dracula’s demons. The show is also full of people getting brutally dismembered, bleeding and vomiting. It never justifies these graphic depictions the way a show like “Game of Thrones”, might use a viscerally violent scene to create a sense of danger. Instead, the violence feels intentionally flashy and sleek."
"Impressively animated fight scenes, brutal violence, and vampiric political intrigue accost monster-hunting trio Trevor, Sypha, and Adrian in Netflix’s take on Konami’s vampire and monster-laden “Castlevania” series."
"“By giving Dracula the human dimension that he really has to have to make the story sustainable, you have to find the human element in him,” said Frederator Studios founder and executive producer Fred Seibert of the character. “Nobody is ultimately all bad. Once you know someone is bad, why spend your time with them? All of our time is precious. Committing to a film where characters are unlikeable – what’s the point?"
"The gruesome dirge, where an army of vampire and demon soldiers routinely eviscerate humans with gleeful fervor in the name of Dracula’s sorrow-fueled vendetta against the entire race, is oddly hopeful and tender. For what feels like the first time in the history of “Castlevania,” you want to root for the lord of all vampires. They took his love away, you see, and so the whole of humanity must pay."
"It could have been a simple narrative borne from the original games’ lore, sprinkled with sleek choreography and exciting battles between humanity and their vampiric nemeses – but the various personalities working on the show saw something more in the adaptation, they told Variety during a set of interviews. The show eventually came together after a painfully long development time that nearly saw it languish in obscurity."
"“I think Warren has an instinct for creating that human dimension for a character that makes you want to spend time with them even if what they ultimately do is not something that you’re supportive of,” said Seibert, which is quite obvious here – Dracula commands his armies to kill every human on sight, terrorizing them nightly to punish the entire race for the actions of a select few, murdering women and children in the process. With Dracula’s crusade to eliminate the whole of humanity, shades of the character’s villainous history do indeed shine through. But we’re also shown the immense pain and immeasurable bleakness that he must feel, knowing he’s doomed to an eternity without, quite possibly, the only one he’s ever loved at his side."

"[repeated line in the show intro] While exploring the outskirts of the city, I discovered an abandoned super robot. It was then my life was transformed by the mysterious Power Primate. The robot monkeys were awakened and I, Chiro, became their leader. Our quest: Save Shuggazoom City from the evils of the Skeleton King."
"Hyperforce, go!"
"This is a messed up maze, Antauri. How do I pick the right path?"
"And you're the monkey that went bad. You don't scare me."
"The Supreme Destructor is only after me. I won't let any of you get hurt. If I fail, you'll still be here to protect the city."
"Of course it was. I wandered into the robot, woke you guys up, the rest is history."
"Chosen one? [incredulous laughter] What do you mean? [alarm sounds] We'll finish this later."
"The monkeys aren't brothers to whatever it is you've become."
"If I am the chosen one, Gibson, it's time I prove it. Let's go get our brothers."
"That's it. You're connected to this place. You never invaded Shuggazoom because you. Can't... leave. I'm going to make sure you never do. RAAAAA!"
"Otto! What are you doing? What's wrong with you, people? Why are you all acting like a bunch of... monkeys?! It must have been the distortion field! It shut down all the computers! Even the ones in your... brains."
"We save Shuggazoom first. Then we find Skeleton King."
"Goodbye, monkey team."
"[in reference to Skeleton King] All this just so you could bow to something uglier than yourself. You're no king. You're a slave."
"Antauri, I failed you."
"This is it. This could be our last battle. We're so far away from home. I’m the chosen one, aren't I? But who chose me? [The camera zooms out to focus on the Super Robot] Was it you?"
"Embrace the Power Primate, and you will discover the right path is often the one you’re already on."
"No monkey team member is ever alone."
"Not what. Who. Chiro, there was a sixth monkey."
"I'm worried about Chiro. He has weaknesses that Mandarin can and will exploit."
"Mandarin, let Chiro go! Your fight is with us."
"Chiro, you are more important than you realize. I was attempting to tell you this before. Our first encounter. It was no accident that you found us."
"No, Chiro. You were destined to find us. You are the chosen one."
"The accelerating body is far more difficult to stop than the inert one."
"His developmental progress has exceeded our expectations."
"[Gibson shows off his latest battle move] I dub them Bio Static Energy Application Darts."
"Spin Shocker? Please, it's not a dance move."
"[about Johnny Sunspot's blackhole energy power] Um. Blackhole energy is extremely unstable, bringing his gloves together like that could destroy the universe."
"I am perfectly aware which way left is."
"He always believed the end of life was but the beginning of a greater journey."
"Antauri, are you sure? He's alone."
"Of rusty old junk? Huh, no."
"[the Super Robot unleashes a missile barrage] They're not playing now!"
"[sees Sparx slacking off] Gee, don't wear yourself out, Sparx. You know, there is one rocket left."
"We're gonna miss you, Antauri."
"[the monkey is on a planet with lots of metal looking for Sparx] Look at this place! Have you ever seen such paradise?"
"Wow! Can you crack your knuckles?"
"Ooh, ooh, I know! How about, the Spin Shocker?!"
"If Sparx was here, he would go rescue... himself."
"[Otto and Gibson are trying to load more missiles into the fist rockets] Move it more to the left! No, no, my other left!"
"Here you go Chiro. You'll be safe and sound in here."
"But, he's all alone now."
"Nice? Ha! I deserve a medal! Maybe something gold. You know with those little wings."
"[inside Planetoid Q's mouth] I got one word: floss."
"[about Scrapperton] He took my hands my beautiful hands he these man hands. I think they're his hands."
"We have nothing to worry about. They're not real pilots, they only play them on TV."
"Don't worry. The kid is nothing like Mandarin."
"[forced laugh] Hey kid. [more forced laughter] Okay. Real funny. Now let us out."
"One day Chiro... one day!"
"Citizens neal down before me or send out your monkeys!"
"Monkeys it is."
"Surely as Shuggazoom will fall, the universe will follow..."
"You failed your world."
