Sir Jacob Rees-Mogg (born 24 May 1969) is a British Conservative politician. He was Leader of the House of Commons (2019–2022) and Minister of State for Brexit Opportunities and Government Efficiency (2022) and served as Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy during the brief premiership of Liz Truss.
