Frosty the Snowman is a 1969 animated Christmas television special based on the song "Frosty the Snowman" about a living snowman and a little girl who struggle to elude a greedy magician who is after the snowman's magic hat. The program, which first aired from December 7, 1969 until December 16, 2023 on CBS and again from December 5, 2024 to the present on NBC, was produced for television by Rankin/Bass Productions.
